Deeply rooted in Atlanta’s in-town neighborhoods, our team creates custom homes that reflect the character of their surroundings and the individuality of the people who live in them.

Nest is led by partners Lauren and Frank Wickstead, whose complementary strengths shape the foundation of our work. Lauren brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach grounded in communication, organization, and an eye for design. Frank draws on decades of experience in construction and a deep commitment to craftsmanship, building science, and collaborative project delivery. Together, we guide projects with intention — working closely with architects, designers, and homeowners to ensure each decision is aligned, so the process feels organized, thoughtful, and grounded from the start.

Beyond custom homes, Nest is selectively engaged in residential development and consulting work, partnering on thoughtfully chosen projects where design integrity, feasibility, and execution must be aligned from the outset. In these roles, we help shape projects early — advising on land development and zoning, constructability, budget alignment, and delivery strategy — so that vision and execution remain connected throughout the process.
